Cooperation has power – ERKKERI trains and provides networks.
The core of a high-quality information, guidance and counselling service is in professional counselling personnel. The heart of an effective and developing service system for adults is a network that works and learns together.
The Opin Ovi cluster of projects, regional networks and services is needed, but something else is required too. That is ERKKERI. Not any kind of ERKKERI, but an exhilarating and empowering one.
ERKKERI is the best friend of Opin Ovi.
ERKKERI is specifically designed to develop training and multi-professional networking skills of all professionals concerned with training adults. It sits within the national family of the Opin Ovi cluster.
ERKKERI facilitates recurring meetings for regional networks while increasing counselling and guidance skills of the personnel.
ERKKERI provides training and studies for 5 cr, 30 cr and 60 cr.
ERKKERI’s training and studies are aimed at guidance and counselling personnel working at employment and trade administration, adult education organizations, universities, universities of applied sciences, adult education colleges, organisations within the Finnish Adult Education Association and other organizations and societies.
The ERKKERI project is managed and administered by the Teacher Education College of JAMK University of Applied Sciences, Jyväskylä. The project partners are HAMK University of Applied Sciences, Vocational Teacher Education Unit, Hämeenlinna, the University of Jyväskylä, and TE-ERKKERI of The Labour Institution.
ERKKERI will be run from 2008 to 2011 and is financed by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy and the European Social Fund.
